About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an American fuel injector specialist associated with two names from the tuning and motorsport world, Paul Yaw and Tony Palo. The company does not manufacture injectors from scratch. Instead, it engineers and develops injectors in partnership with Bosch Motorsport, a relationship DSPORT magazine highlighted when the ID1050x was released.

Injector Dynamics is best known for its X-series injectors. DSPORT reported that the ID1050x could run consistently on as little as 8 volts at 8 bar and operate stably up to 10 bar. It also highlighted corrosion-resistant internals that the company says make the injectors compatible with all known fuels. The current XDS range includes the ID1050-XDS, ID1300-XDS, ID1750-XDS and ID2600-XDS, along with fuel filters and pump controllers. Injector Dynamics also publishes detailed data for its injectors so tuners can set them up correctly.

Injector Dynamics and the JDM scene

Bigger turbos and E85 both need more fuel, and Injector Dynamics is a common upgrade for that. Its injectors are offered in sets with the correct adapters for each engine, so they drop into Hondas, Supras, RX-7s and many other JDM engines without guesswork. With flow options from about 1,050 cc to 2,600 cc, it is easy to size an injector to the build. Because the injectors are compatible with all known fuels, they are a natural choice for flex-fuel and E85 setups.
