Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Part Shop Midori. Due to the specialized nature of performance and racing components, we have specific policies to ensure fairness and adherence to vendor requirements.

Before shipping any item back, ALL RETURNS MUST BE APPROVED BY CUSTOMER SERVICE. Once you have read through our policies below, please use our Contact Us Form to start a return.


Standard Return Policy (30 Days)

Products sold by Part Shop Midori are eligible for return within 30 days of the original invoice date under our Standard Return Policy.

  • Process: All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number.

  • Condition: Due to the nature of racing and performance vehicles, items that are opened, installed, or used are strictly non-returnable.

  • Responsibility: The customer is responsible for all freight charges related to the return.

  • Our Error: If the return is due to a mistake made by Part Shop Midori (e.g., shipping the wrong item), restocking fees and freight costs will be waived.

  • Customer Error: If the product doesn’t fit or isn’t what you expected, you will be responsible for all restocking fees and freight charges related to the return.

  • Kits/Combos: Products purchased as part of a kit or combo are only eligible for return if the ENTIRE kit/combo is returned simultaneously. Individual items within a kit cannot be returned separately.

  • Packaging: Poorly packaged returns resulting in avoidable damage (especially if shipped back in non-original packaging) may be rejected.

Not adhering to the terms outlined here, along with those specified on the RMA form, could lead to delays in processing returns or the rejection of returned packages.


Special Item Policies

Non-Returnable Items (Including but not limited to):

  • Condition: Opened Items, Used or Installed Items, Incomplete Items, Incomplete Return Shipments, International Shipments.

  • Pricing: Clearance Items, Open-Box Items, or Overstock Items (all sales are final).

  • Type: Special Order Items, Custom Built Items, or Made-to-Order Items.

Open-Box, Clearance, or Overstock Items

These items are sold at discounted prices and are final sale with no refund or return eligibility. Buyers assume all risks associated with these discounted items. While functionality is maintained, they may have superficial defects (scratches, dents). The buyer assumes responsibility for any necessary servicing or repairs after the sale.

Special Order, Custom Built, or Made to Order Items

These items are handled on a case-by-case basis and generally cannot be returned or exchanged. These orders may require a minimum of a 50% non-refundable deposit. This deposit will not be refunded if the order is canceled (unless the manufacturer is unable to attain the items).


Cancellations and Refused Orders

Cancellations

To cancel an order, use our Contact Us Form and select the appropriate topic. Our team will attempt to halt processing, but due to our commitment to swift fulfillment, your order may already be packed.

  • Fees: All cancellations typically incur a restocking fee of up to 20%. Depending on the vendor, product, and stage of processing, this fee may be higher.

Refused / Undeliverable Orders

If an order is refused or undeliverable and returned to our facility, it will be processed like a standard return. All restocking fees and shipping costs (including return freight charges and any return-to-sender fees) will be deducted from the product refund. If you wish to return an item, please accept the shipment and follow the standard RMA process.

Restocking Fees

Due to vendor contracts and shipping/handling expenses, all returns are subject to a restocking fee, typically up to 20%, unless the mistake was ours.


Refunds and Product Warranties

Refunds

Once your returned shipment is received, it will be inspected and processed, typically within 14 days. After approval, the refund will be processed through the original payment method, less any applicable fees (restocking, freight, etc.). Refunds usually appear on your statement within 1-5 business days, depending on your bank. Only returns meeting all RMA and policy requirements are eligible for a refund.

Product Warranties

The majority of products we sell are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. If you have concerns about the fitment or performance of an item, please contact our customer service department. Our team will review your situation and assist you in communicating with the manufacturer to arrange a warranty inspection or replacement.
