About SPC Performance

SPC Performance is the performance line of Specialty Products Company, an alignment specialist based in Longmont, Colorado. SPC was founded in 1971 as a specialty automotive tool company, starting out in a small warehouse in Denver. Frank Bigelow purchased the business in 1976 and incorporated it as Niwot Corporation, doing business as Specialty Products Company, and the company later moved to Longmont, where it remains.

Over the decades SPC has become focused on wheel alignment parts and tools, selling more than 1,500 items worldwide and manufacturing many of its parts in its own facility. Its range includes adjustable control arms, camber and caster kits, camber bolts, shims and ball joints, and the company supports installers with alignment training, the AlignGuide app of OEM specifications and an online library of installation videos.

SPC Performance and the JDM scene

Lowering a Japanese car almost always knocks the alignment out of spec, and SPC Performance exists to fix that. Its adjustable arms and camber kits let lowered Civics, Integras, RSXs and Nissan Z and Infiniti G platforms get camber back into a range that saves tires on the street or dial in extra negative camber for autocross and track days. Because SPC comes from the alignment-shop world, its parts are designed to be adjusted quickly and accurately on the rack.
